Coffee Curious is a web prototype allowing users to find different coffee beans based on their flavor, time, and grind preferences. In this collaborative project, my partner and I researched coffee beans, brewing methods, flavor profiles, coffee farm regions, and other factors that influence how a coffee tastes. We then decided on the goal of our prototype: let the user explore their flavor preferences and get a recommendation of coffee beans.
From the user's initial preference input, some brew options are grey to show that these methods are filtered out because they do not fit the preferences. The user then can select a brew option which again filters the suggested beans.
The user gets access to the details of a certain coffee bean once they select one from the suggested bean menu. At the top of the screen, the user's initial selection is shown. To make a different selection, they click the red and green wheel in the top right corner.
